[When Jason sees Chrissy next, he's a touch more put together. The scars on his face are less prominent, the bruising less severe, and he seems more steady on his feet. He grins over at her and it's less lopsided than before.]

[It's honestly incredibly comforting to see Jason looking so much better. It hasn't even been that long since the last time she was here, so this is definitely a good thing.]

[Like last time, she hasn't come empty-handed, and now seems like as good a time as any to hand over the lunch box.]

This is for you. And I brought Night of the Living Dead and Psycho because I wasn't sure which one you'd want to watch.

[Jason's grin brightens at seeing her.]

Hey. [He accepts the lunchbox and looks at the box then up at her.] For me?

[Oh how his grin grows. This is hella nice of her and she didn't have to do it.]

[Seeing him smile makes Chrissy smile a little wider too, because she's just happy to see him looking so happy.]

Yep! You'll probably want to heat it up.

[Maybe soup isn't the most exciting gift, but she knows that chewing is still difficult for him, and it's easy enough to bring leftovers.]

We can watch both. Which one do you want to see first?

[Jason pops the soup into the microwave and sets it to warm up. Then he returns to Chrissy, still grinning.]
