[It takes a couple calls of his name before Jason jerks back to waking. His eyes are wild as he stares around, unsure for a moment of where he is.]

What the-- What the fuck?

[Jason focuses on Bruce, trying to calm down his chaotic breathing.]

[ Bruce remains steady and calm by his side. Only once Jason is awake does he reach out and place a careful hand on the other's shoulder. ]

You were having a nightmare. You're alright now. You're in the cave.

[Jason focused on Bruce’s face, in the words coming out of his mouth and the steady pressure on his shoulder.]

The cave? [He blinks up at Bruce before remembering he’s not in San Francisco.] Right, the cave.

[Bruce simply nods, letting it sink in. He knows just how jarring nightmares can be, how much they can remove you from the present. The only thing Bruce is grateful for is that at least Jason got some sleep.]
